I want my server to be a RP server.Please help :)

Hello guys...

I have downloaded a map called "RP_EvoCity_v2d.bsp"
Its a huge map i really want to have real rp playing on, but my question is how do i really make my server a real roleplaying server?(Like servers i been on where i can choose characters with diffrent type of jobs,weapons,models) Things like that.

The map i have now just have a big city and alot of singel houses.Do i need any second program to make house buyable?
Send me links to every usefull pages u guys know that can help me getting my server live as a REAL RP server :)

And, are you thinking about DarkRP or more Serious kinds?

Iam totaly new to all this rp stuff.I just want to have a simple,easy, RP server at the map i have now. Like i can buy houses,choose classes..How do i find these things to add them to my server? :)

If you want it simple, DarkRP is probably the way to go for you.

When it comes to buying houses and such, DarkRP adds a function that allows you to buy doors.
If you buy all doors in a house, its sort of like buying the house.

I'm not experienced with "counter-strike.com"'s hosting, but most sites got an option to install mods like DarkRP.
If they do not, I recommend you grab the latest version of DarkRP (I do not have a link on me or know where to get one, I'm sure someone else does), Access your server's FTP and then transfer it into your rented server's Gamemode folder.

Also, your server is a dedicated one, I was just wondering if it was rented or not, seeing the way to do stuff would be different then.

i have downloaded darkrp now but when i click F4 i dont get any meny or anything..Cant even find a shit about this mod ingame :( Help.... !

Have you configured your server.cfg, or changed the gamemode at all?

Don't forget to add an admin subscription donation benefit, that one always works.

Oh and don't forget, for every kill someone gets they get $1000000 and if they get 25 kills without dying, everyone on the server besides them gets banned permanetley and a message shows up on their screen saying "you have won the game."
