Hello Facepunch, this is a friendly advertisement for our Half-life 2 role-play server. Our server is based off of RoleNation.com's old Hl2rp server. We have taken off from there and made it less strict so everyone can have a chance to have fun. Our script is one of the latest, up-to-date roleplaying gamemodes and includes these features. Nexus Base, Half-Life 2 Gamemode, made and licensed by Kuromeku -Tokens and business system -SQL character saving system -Metropolice Force Ranking System -Character recognizing System. -Character Stat System -Realistic Fall Damage -Utilized Weapon and Ammo Base. -Ability to pick up objects with your hands. -Realistic damage system with Knock-outs. -Over 60 role-playing items -14 role-playing weapons -Storage system -Ownable door system -Combine lock system -Various citizen and combine animations. -Various chat features, /yell, /whisper, // ooc .// local ooc and of course the /me action ability. -Zip tie and tied up system. -Weathermod and Conna's Tool Pack -And many more! Our server isn't 100% canon, we wanted to try to make it so everyone can have the chance to have fun, rather than citizens just standing around all day. Don't let this confuse you though, we have a strict Metropolice force. In our roleplay server we have these factions. -Metropolice Force -City Administrator -Overwatch Transhuman Arm -Civil Worker's Union -The Resistance Various of those factions are available to join through forum applications. Everyone should have a chance to roleplay things, otherwise in other servers, only admins would get. This should spread the variety for role-players wants. We are determined to assure that you have a fun roleplay experience. Our community has been up two months, we recently had a name change and a new server-host, with an SQL wipe due to complications, and now we are set up and good to go! The admins sometimes slay each other and fight which is kind of annoying x_x

We got that taken care of, it will be more organized, we are a team. Join the server, we are currently almost to a full server!

There are a lot, a LOT of roleplay servers nowadays in Garry's Mod. What makes your server different from the hundreds of other HL2 "serious" roleplay servers out there?

They're not as good? Just my opinion. E: Or original.

theres barely any hl2 rp servers.. like 10 at max..

Ness is entitled to his opinion, and I do agree with the originality, Roleplayreborn hasn't shown me anything that differs from other servers.

If your admins just bicker with each other and can't even get on the same page, different will mean nothing.

Amplify because of the merge and the new idiotic admins you brought. You being the worst of them. You're a control-freak, hypocrite, and you can't even be a competent roleplayer most of the time. When things don't get done your way, you rage completely. And then you continue on by doing what's best for yourself, and not the community. Well, what do I care. I left. Edit: When I was there, one half of the Administration team hated the other; or atleast had different views on things, and didn't enjoy the other's company. Not to mention that you guys have no 'original' things. You use other people's models. For example, TacoNBanana's models. As well as Kuro's script, and to top it all off, Kuro's canon on Hl2 RP.

We don't use Taconbanana modles NessTea, and I had to be a control freak to keep the server under control. You quit because you didn't get to keep your elitist, super combine unit. And you just had a bad attitude and no respect towards the leaders. Not to mentain when you left you decided to wipe our rosters, that's really mature. Besides, this isn't AmpGaming this is Roleplay Reborn. Two different things. I have nothing against you, just stop trying to make false causes against my community.

And Blazing, since he was, and still is a very good friend of mine. All but you. Enough flamebaiting on my part. Except the "wide variety of role-playing items", was replaced by, "over 60 role-playing items."

Past the bitching back and forth on this thread it looks solid. I'll get set on the forums and check out the server when possible. =D

My community works too with Nexus and it's a great gamemode. But unfortunately my community doesn't accept English people because it's a French community. So, it's the first HL2RP server in the French community.
