It is like spore, spore had the best DRM, but it was the [i]most[/i] pirated game that year, pirates will always find a way.
And all you are doing by this is blocking out people that have the legit game, the internet filter coming into
Australia is useless, the people who do things illegally will get around it, same as gmod.org.

Took me 7 minutes cause I didn't have a custom url at the time other then that it's simple.
What is hard about making up a name, a password, entering a email, adding a bit of code to your profile, making a custom URL, then clicking next?

In other words, some SMART pirate will MAYBE find a way, and he COULD share that way (by sharing garry will probably fix it)
So what's slowing things...
- Most people who pirate gmod are NOT smart, they just found a guide
- Gmod costs like 10€ the REAL pirates are usual people who have a job, so they'll probably just buy the game
Short version: pirate kids are raging with this update and we all laugh

I dont think the pirates will get around it, they need a registered copy of gmod 10 and the garrysmod.org website wont accept "third-Party Mods" etc.. the only way that the pirating cheap-skates will get around it is if they buy the game. I tried verifying two accounts with one game, It doesnt work.
