I've been searching for days now, and I can't find anything about why I'm missing blood and muzzleflash (as well as many other) effects or how to get them back or even how to get new ones. Does anyone have ANY idea what I can do to fix this? This is getting really frustrating.

It's happened to everyone. However, there's no indication Garry may do anything, so most people don't see the point in complaining.
(Besides, most people use photoshop etc. for inserting blood, muzzleflashes etc.)
