I get this whenever I try to launch it.

you can have steam and have pirated it. I suggest re-installing as that error usually occurs when trying to run a 64bit application on a 32bit OS (for me anyway) so something's fucked up. Is this the first time you've tried to play it?

Nope. I've had GMod for almost two years now. There was an update. Then that happened.
Reinstall gmod, you are missing a launch file.
Also, How do you get the thing at the top??
This is a new Garry's mod virus, which I don't think there is a fix yet other than reinstalling steam( not sure if it will work ). Also, stop joining servers with fake gamemodes and fake players.

You can try that or delete steamapps/yourusername/garrysmod/bin/launcher.dll, steam will eventually replace it...
If you get the error about local game files being corrupt, delete steamapps/garrysmod content.gfc and try again... should do the fix...

or do wht i did in my thread and delete it all to be on the safe side, and if you go on gmod it will be replace quickly

I deleted launcher.dll and it's still broke. Should I just delete my garrysmod folder?
