Hey everyone,
I just purchased Garry's Mod last night when I was reminiscing about the fun times I had playing it over the past few years when it was free.
What my friends and I use to do, was spawn 2 or 3 cars and weld explosive barrels to each side of the buggy, and then spawn and ant lion guard. It would chase us around until he hit one of us, but when he did oh man, we would go FLYING across the map.
However when I started up the new Garry's mod, I tried the same thing only to find out the ant lion was..."dumbed down" as he would not chase us very far. Also when he did hit us, we wouldn't go anywhere. It was as if the car was now too heavy or the ant lion was just not as strong.
Is there any add-ons that could help me achieve the fun I use to have?
What map where you on? Some maps have something called A.I. Nodes which lets them chase you around. The only really good nodes are on gm_construct.

Plentiful and well-placed.
The reason your car doesn't fly across the map anymore might be because of the latest engine that Garry's Mod 10 has.

I was just reading about this, when they changed the engine in 2008, that's a bummer :(
Instead of starting a new thread I'll just post in here.
How can you allow people to download files off of you? When I connect to a server, I usally have to download alot of things, but when a friend joins me in a server I created, he isn't even allowed to download the map...
Any ideas?
