Lets say I try to blow up a beefy computer with a shotgun. Usually it breaks into several pieces, flying everywhere, right? Well unfortunately, for some reason, the props just disappear when I shoot them. It can't be the update, because it was working before then. Just I log out one time, log back in, and then props do not have the fun breaking. They just disappear.
What am I doing wrong?

You must not shoot them that hard.
They will get stuck in between worlds.

When you kill then, do they just explode then disappear?
And does this happen with all props?
Because if it does, you might have Combat Damage System installed, CDS is mainly for spacebuild, but it makes every single prop breakable, even the non breakable ones breakable.
No, they just disappear, I have this problem too. When a breakable prop is shot with enough force to destroy it, it just disappears. This happens for all of my breakable props, too; tables, chairs, computers, drawers, etc.

Ah haaa. Looks like I'll have to get CDS uninstalled if I wanna blow up beefy. Pity CDS makes the props disappear rather than break. Thanks.

Ok... I uninstalled CDS from my addons folder, but the props are still disappearing when i shoot them. They do not explode then disappear, they just disappear, and its only the breakable props like the beefy tower (I LIKE shooting it with a shotgun, thank you. Be glad I don't use RPG's)
What am I still doing wrong?

I am having the same problem, but one weird thing is that when I break the standard HL2 crates it leaves gibs. But CS:S breakable props and such don't leave gibs.
But it doesn't leave gibs, even if I hit it lightly. I hit a cs_office keyboard with a crowbar, and still has the same problem.

I consider "too hard" to be shooting the beefy tower with the Redeemer. Point blank.
I get this problem too, but it isn't with all breakable props, just ones like the Beefy tower and computer screen. Melons & PHX wooden things break just fine.
Sometimes this happens with glass, for me.
Damn i got the same problem, breakable things just disappear? Maybe an bug..
So we got the problem, but no solution. I tried uninstalling CDS, and life support and all those goodies, but the Beefy just disappears... ironically, this makes me want to kill my own tower PC.

Yha I have the same problem, it seem to have started when I installed the PcTuningV8 mod then I uninstalled gmod re-installed it and nothing changed!
Im getting the same problem, its the css militia windows and the computer parts that just dissapear when I break them.
I don't think it's PCtuning

It's Counter Strike. All Counter Strike props have stopped Gibing due to the update. Old news.

When you shoot a computer tower with a shot gun,it could be seen as "overkill",but only if you shoot them over and over again. And i was wondering,what mod do I need to stop seeing errors on the map office,i have wire,phx and phx2,but still all errors!!!!! Can you all help me?

Shooting a computer tower "to hard" would be like shooting a beefy tower at point blank with a nuke,now thats "to hard".
