In single player, everything is screwed up. welded props act like ragdolls and things like the weight tool are completely inoperative. single player as a sandbox in completely unplayable in a practical setting. however multiplayer is just fine, no issues of the like.

Yeah. You should check through your addons take out ones you don't really need
i'll clean it out and try a vanilla run when i get home.
