Can you be VAC banned for certain content on a server you join? - Garry's Mod

I was playing GMOD today and joined this server, it said PERP 3 Beta 78.105.234.62:27025 (Dont go on it) I downloaded 2 lua files then I was in it for like 10 seconds before it like redirected me to another server or some stuff like that then garrys mod crashed and when i tried to start it; it said local game content corrupt or something so I reinstalled it then I get this message, [url]http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/4656/errorfz.png[/url] Then I go on CSS and notice i am VAC banned. If this wasnt the reason then they have no other reason to ban me. Any advice from you guys?

Don't you get vac banned for having your client files changed in game? Servers can't access the files so I don't see how you can get vac banned for it. [editline]03:03PM[/editline] You probably hacked on CSS a few weeks ago, thought you got away with it, then vac raped you up the ass.

Nope Didnt hack I dont play css I just went on it to check if that would start up opposed to gmod.

You probably did something in CSS to get you VAC banned, not GMod. I'm 99.9% sure you can't get VAC banned from Lua scripts.

you can't get VACed in gmod for lua files. VAC does not mess up. You hacked, you got what you deserve. You get shitty korea servers and shit.
