Im planning on purchasing a laptop soon, and i would like some advice on a good laptop that could easily run Garry's mod. Im not looking for an extremly powerful gaming laptop, im just planning on playing Garry's mod, maybe some TF2 or some counter strike source. So i just want to know if anyone can recommend a good laptop for what im looking for. I dont have a set price im willing to go up to, just looking for something reasonable, I'd put my limit around 800$ So any advice would be appriciated, thanks for the help.
Hint: Don't get a laptop for gaming. EVER.
Gaming laptops are a good decision if you travel alot. If you do not travel alot, head down to the hardware section and they can find you a good build to build.

if you do ever want to buy a laptop for gaming check with the manufacturer that it is compatible with upgrades. and then upgrade the video and graphics cards :/
Hint: Don't get a laptop for gaming. EVER.
Quad core laptops are exceptions.
Hint: Don't get a laptop for gaming. EVER.
This is true if you get a laptop that specifically says it's a gaming laptop. I have an HP G60 with minimum RAM and an okay Intel 4500 graphics card. It runs GMod and most source games at 15-30 FPS (15 in wide open areas like Ravenholm's last town map, but not in coastline areas). I don't own any GoldSrc games, though, but I assume those games would run even faster. /wall of text
If you want to get a over priced laptop go with alien ware :downs:
