Simply low fps. Any configurations/console commands that will improve performance?

Well, I've got a pretty crap computer at the moment, and GMOD averages around 20-30 fps on SpaceBuild maps, and with ships and things it goes to around 8 fps... Are there any configs that lower the settings past low to improve performance? Don't say "get a new computer lol!" because I don't have the money, nor do I have a job at the moment.

I'm now aware that I have what you call a " crappy computer ", because I get these FPSs in GMod.

However, I can run COD4 and Borderlands, even Bioshock, perfectly.

Not much I can suggest, spacebuild maps don't run well, and life support 3 can bring your fps down a insane amount for no apparent reasons. So either suck it up, or don't play spacebuild.

Well, the specs for my computer are a AMD Mobile Athlon 2800+ (Not a laptop), 1.5gb DDR2 667MHz RAM, and a AGP Radeon Sapphire X1650Pro. The AGP's bus speed is only 4x so it's a lot slower than normal. Also, OS is XP x32. So you can probably see what I mean by crappy computer.
