please help!!!!!!!!!!! ok i download the add ons and save them to my computer but i cant get them to go on garys mod so i cant use them please tell me how too, thank you

i cant find my garrys mod folder theres just a shortcut
The directory is something like c:\program files\steam\steamapps\your username\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons

Hmm, maybe you should reinstall Garry's mod. But have you played Garry's mod yet? Usually the folder is made when you play it.
did you bought it on steam or downloaded the free nonsteam vercion from the internet coz if you downloaded it then thets no wonder you dont have this directory!
(do you et least know where you installed it if you do go there andgo to addons folder and copy evrything there)

so you have nonsteam vercion. Beter buy the original its cheap and more fun the the pirate one (some addons can not work on thous once and they dont get updated)

So, then find program files, open it, find Steam folder and open it up, find Steamapps, and open it up,
find your folder which is named your Steam accounts name, open it up, find garrysmod, open it up,
find garrysmod, open it up again, find addons, open it up. Then Drag and drop the addon.

Did you even read my post, Its a guide on how to install addons. If you cant find it. Post a picture of your directory of Garry's Mod.

It will go into garrysmod straight away. It depends on what you downloaded as to where you will find it. For model packs, it'll have it's own spawn category in top left of spawn menu. If it's a tool it'll be where you find all the other tools, and if it's a weapon it'll be with the other weapons too
