Ok, I've recently made a server (dedicated), and everything's going fine, i think. The console is running it without problems, and I just resolved the problem with the server.cfg file....
The thing is that I want to connect to the server... and i didn't really know how to do that. At the end of the console it says Adding Master IP's and gives 2 of them...which one do i use to connect? And not only that, but i used my Router I.P address and I was able to join, and last time i checked it said the I.P shouldn't be 192.168.*.*....so,
What I was wondering is how can i change the server's IP address to something else and for other people to be able to join, because my friend couldn't and only I could. Sorry if i'm missing anything that would help you guys help me better, but just post and i'll give you what you're looking for.
I've Forwarded Ports 27005, 27010, 27015, and 27020. Maybe it's my static IP..?
You make your friends connect to the static ip your server is running on. To get that static ip, just visit [url]www.whatismyip.com[/url] and look at the top for your ip.
