I know this is probably a really noobish question but it keeps happening to me and its starting to really piss me off. I recently got the map gm_skylife and it look cool in the sample picture but when i try to load it none of the tree show up

and some of the textures are missing such as the cave and the buildings

This happens whenever i get maps with trees or wierd textures so i am asuming that there is some basic model/texture pack that is used on all these maps but i have found no such pack. i also have all the basic value games (hl2/tf2/CCS) so that cannot be the problem. Ideas???
I think you need Episode 2.
Thats the continuation of hl2 right? not the same thing though cus i have the entire hl2 pack = hl2, lost coast, etc
Do you or do you not have Half-Life 2: Episode 2?
