OK, because I am the stuiped person that I am I put this is the wrong section, I'm sorry, mock me and laugh all you want.
Ok so ya I started the game on a default map blah blah, I loaded, then I the textures were broken, ya. So on a default map, the textures are broken, I have no idea why, it's like loading a map you don't have the textures for, you get it, just help me.

PC Specs and What games do you have? (CSS, TF2, HL2, Portal, DoDS, Ep1, Ep2)
And are you using LEGIT Gmod?
I have HL2 and Garrysmod, all thats needed for the basic maps to run(the ones that come with the game). I don't even know what LEGIT mean's so I'm guessing no.
It means that its not illegal ( I don't really know eaither ). HL2 and Gmod isn't that much of a good choice. Nowadays most people make Lua addons out of TF2 Content, or you can buy CS:S which everyone uses all the time. So buy one of those, or maybe both. $20 each, the game and the content is worth it.
Um..I think you mis-understood the problem. I'm not making add-ons, maps, or scripts, the default maps, the come when you purcahse garrysmod are broken, the Official maps. They don't work. My computer meets the requirements for the maps to work, but they don't.
If you're having issues with the default maps and it's not your computer or addons you've downloaded, that's weird. All I can suggest is first, make sure you've actually played Half Life 2 at least once. Second, reinstall both games. If that doesn't work, I have no idea.
