Stupid black and purple square reflection and games not loading right.

Gah i never knew owning a server would be this complacated, anyway, i have black and pink squares being reflected onto the walls, floors, and every item, i cant get rid of them, im thinking it has something to do with the next problem.

i also cant get any of the games other than HL2(the first episode, not 1 or 2, just 0) to load, it says "Loading <Game>... Failed", and i want it to be fixed, how do i do that?

Ensure the content is being mounted on the server and on your client.

Often I find that I get these pink/black squares on reflective textures too.
This usually means there is a missing texture, but it can also sometimes be fixed by simply ALT-Tabbing out of the game (Or minimizing if you're on windowed mode), then back in a couple minutes later.

I realise that this may not be the case, but a lot of the time I have managed to resolve this issue by simply doing that.

If you're experiencing pink/black squares on non-reflective textures, then you probably do have missing materials/textures and possibly need to check your other games are mounted properly.

If you Minimize your game you can get those prpl textures too, only on reflective surfaces though.
