Ok basically i am trying to switch an old windows 2000 computers hard drive, to a windows XP one i got from another computer. i know the hard drives will work in the original computer but i no longer have it. im not going to bother going into those details. BAsically, i just tried adding the windows XP one, to the same spot as the original windows 2000 one which DID NOT work. but when i put in the iwndows 2000 one it says,
Performing automatic IDE configuration...
No Boot device available - strike f1 to retry boot, f2 for setup utility
Any suggestions????
By the way i posted this in the garrysmod server hosting session because once i get it to work i am trying to make a dedicated server with the 2000 computer.
Take this to the PC area, not server hosting, they'll be able to offer more help there.
