Clicking on the items in the lists doesn't do anything, but they are still there, cluttering up the menu. I deleted the addon they are associated with (all those models were in the addon folder that I deleted), but they are still there.
So tell me, how do I remove it completely?
Right click the spawnlist, click delete. Then click the little disk icon on the left of the menubar.
What does the disc icon do?
