Garry's Mod 13 is actually pretty good. Lua functions are more reasonable than before, and the removal of GLON and datastream is a godsend.
As much as I didn't like Garry's Mod 13 in the first place, After I started using it I realized how convenient the workshop system is, and the new features just make it so much more better.

Hey, I love Garry Newman as much as the next guy, but if you think he's going to change his opinion based on an online petition you haven't been around on Facepunch long enough.
Personally I believe Garry Newman's right in this situation - from an under the hood standpoint Garry's Mod 13 is much tidier and useful than what Garry's Mod 12 had to offer, and most of what was worth while on Garry's Mod 12 is already ported over. And if it's not ported, why not port it over?
There's really no reason why you should stick around with Garry's Mod 12, or want it.
A petition won't change Garrys mind, No matter how many signatures it gets.
