Text (Serious thread)

Hey fruitpunch

Anyways why is it so hard to make text in gmod?!??!
This is one of the biggest untouched subjects in the game.
I find that making text with rope.
A. looks like shit
B. takes forever to write with
C. cannot be removed easily

I also found the wire textscreen quite useful (to an extent)
But there are issues with that too, What if the server doesn't support it? What if your clients dont support it? (aka nubs w/o svn wire) and what if you want to make your text a bit larger? I mean why is this such a delema in gmod?!?

There has to be an easier way!

My Idea (Which I'm too stupid/lazy to make) is

What if.. you made an in game HTML editor, Then hosted the HTML file serverside, Linked the HTML file with the youtube screen, (isn't it how it works anyways?) then with the projector "project" your text on something?

Yea i Was On this one server and this guy had a flat see threw plate and it had a green text in it i asked him how he did it and he told me its a secret

I remember having a label addon with which you could write anything, anywhere and in any size.

Wired text screens had an update, wich means you can use any prop, and it uses the largest face for the screen.

There is always GPU, but its kinda hard to use.
