So, I've been meaning to fix this. When I load a server, most of the time when the progress bar has two or three to go, the dots around the Garry's Mod "g" keep spinning and do not stop until 15 minutes later when there is an error. I've had this problem for a while, and it keeps me from joining games.
What error? Specs? Run dxdiag, take a screenshot of the error, and \addons\ and post here.

After waiting a while, I discovered it displays no error. I am sure nothing is wrong with my DirectX because can play singleplayer and other Source Engine games.
Specs (It may be hard to look at):
80GB IDE 7200RPM HDD
1.25GB RAM @ 333Hz
2.4GHz Celeron Single Core Processor
NVidia GeForce 6200 256MB PCI Graphics with updated drivers
1024x768 15" monitor
DVD Drive
