Ok, so I've tried to make a dedicated server with this video: [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-3YU3BS3-0[/url].
I've managed to get this loading up and everything but...
My friends still can't join my server, it says to them 'server not responding'.
I've made the server internet and not LAN,
I've forwarded ports : 27015, 27005 and 27030.
I can't think why my friends can't join the server though.
Oh, and if possible, please could someone tell me how to become an admin on a dedicated server too?
I HAVE searched the net to try and sort this, but found nothing.
Any help would MUCH be appreciated :) , as I have been trying to get this working for ages.
I'm kinda noobish at this stuff, so yes I don't care if people call me a noob :P

Well... This could be bit of a late reply but you need to forward all of these ports:
UDP 1200 (Friends Network)
UDP 27000 to 27015 (Gameport)
UDP 27020
TCP 27030 to 27039
TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)
When I says 27000 to 27015 etc. I mean you have to forward 27000, 27001, 27002... individually.

Actually I wouldn't be too suprised if the router had an option to forward a port range, so individual additions wouldn't be nessessary.

Exactly, you need a port for each player on the server.
