Help - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

Ok, no matter what i do, no matter how i download, no matter how its installed. I can not get g mod to work with any mod. I always get the game crashing. What am i doing wrong i have followed like 20 tutorials to no avail.

Ok: Processor: Intel core Due CPU P7350 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz RAM: 4.00 Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M Operating System: Windows Vista 64 bit(soon to be windows 7) Now on to asking the question better. Ok, i got gmod 10, i can install that just fine. But when i try to install any mod, i get nothing. I put it in the addon folder i get nothing. I copy and paste the folders over to the garrysmod dir i get nothing. I have been using both SVN and Downloaded in zips to no avail. The one i am really looking for is stargate, the svn does not work and when i use the alternate download linik and get what i think is stargate, i follow install instructions and i get... thats right nothing. So i donno what to do. Thanks
