Garry released an update that packed modules in the game.
Can't seem to find any reference in http://www.garrysmod.com/updates/ to any update.
Strange that he did not do the same on Steam Pipe files.
Have a look just open "ollydbg" and watch the game close.
Again? Wonderful.

They aren't packed, I can still do crap in c++ with the game, it just crashes itself when olly is opened. HeX mentioned to me awhile ago that garry had some sort of process blacklist inside of GAC, which he thinks was used to detect winject. Olly probably is blocked now too (hopefully it doesn't get me globally banned). Renaming the executable doesn't work, so it probably is walking the process list looking for the window title. Anyway, please don't pack the modules again garry ;_;

The modules are packed.
You can still use your modules but they are packed.
He did this last time he did anything with an AC, IIRC it caused antivirus detections and he got rid of it. I'm pretty last time he also use Themida, which he's likely using again. I don't think data's actually lost when it's packed and I know there's public tutorials on unpacking them.
I don't know if you two realise, but this also breaks IDA and other disassemblers, not just debuggers.

I never tried. I checked facepunch on my laptop before I went to bed, and saw this and quickly went back on my main computer to see if it broke my stuff. Do either of you know for a fact exactly what packer he used?

From what I have seen, it appears he only packed client and lua_shared.
