Is there ANY way I can get Counter-Strike? I cannot afford it. Ambassador system? Referrals? Advertisements? Anything. After weeks and weeks of screwing with Garry's Mod I cannot get the Counter-Strike addons to work properly.

Are you trying to put it in steam/steamapps/yourname/garrysmod? After the steampipe update it now goes in steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod
i'm pretty sure it's legal to just use HLDSupdatetool to get the mats/maps/models/sounds etc.
I tried that, 343N. No matter what I put in, what tutorial I used, nothing would appear in the folder after downloading.
We're not allowed to promote anything besides buying it or using a Valve resource because we could be banned for promoting warez.

srcsds don't have the actual textures, only material files.
It used to, now it just downloads blanks.
You don't have $20 to spare? If you're legally old enough to work, I don't think you should be spending your time playing gmod...
1.) Wait for GMod trading cards to come out.
2.) Sell those cards on the Steam Community Market.
3.) Buy something in TF2 with the card money.
4.) Trade your way to obtaining a copy of CS:S.
Long, drawn out method, but it's free if you already have GMod, and legal.
I'd trade my entire TF2 inventory for a copy of CS:S.

I mounted CS:S aaaaaaaaaand...
The problem is STILL THERE. No matter what I do, the guns are still in my character's crotches!
I tried reinstalling, I deleted / subscribed to all my addons, I verified everything, I restarted my PC, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!!!
Launch CS:S, then exit. If that dosen't work, try validating the game cache.

Problem solved. Turns out I had a "TTT Weapons Pack" in my addons, even though I was sure I removed it. After uninstalling it, the problem was resolved. Thanks to everyone, INCLUDING KINGOFBEAST, THE LORD OF MONSTERS, THE MASTER OF DEMONS, THE RAVAGER OF VAGINAS
