Hi, i have made a server on gmod (create multiplayer game) but my advanced dupes are not in the advanced dupe tool, they are all saved in where they are at default with wiremod svn (garrysmod, garrysmod, data, adv_duplicator) but they just dont show up D:
NOTE:
they show up in other peoples games so i guess i have to copy then somewhere to be in my own games
You have to download your dupes when saved to a server..
Press the Download/Upload button, select dupe, download.
i dont understand what you mean they are nowhere to be seen
Manual:
In your server's garrysmod/data/adv_duplicator/ move the contents of that to the garrysmod/garrysmod/data/adv_duplicator
In-Game:
(On the server with your dupes)
Get Adv Dupe out
You should see you dupes on the scroll window thing if not goto the correct folder
Press the Download/Upload button
Choose a dupe
Press download
guys, you dont understand... my dupes are in the garrysmod/garrysmod/data/adv_duplicator folder but they arent showing up when i go to the tool if i create a game and i dont know how to make it look in a different folder
you still have to upload them to the server, even if you made the server.
to upload a file, when you select the Adv. Dupe tool, there should e something like "upload/download manager," you pick that, and then click "upload file to server." After that, you pick the file you want, and then go back to the main menu of the Adv. Dupe tool, and then you just look through the file listing until you find what you uploaded

Create that folder. Just make sure you're working in the right directory first. It's /Steam/SteamApps/Common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/data/
If you don't see a adv_dupe folder, then create it and follow instruction made by previous posters.
