SDoF broke, is there a way to fix it?

I'm probably late as fuck but search is down so I can't be arsed to browse through this entire section to find a similar thread. But anyways, a few updates ago, SDoF suddenly stopped working. As soon as I pressed 'Render' my screen goes batshit insane for like 5 seconds and then my game freezes resulting in a crash. However, it seems that not everybody is having this problem. I'm running a GTX260 if you needed to know. It used to work just fine a couple of months ago...

I've already tried reinstalling GMod, but no avail. Is there a way to get it working again because I really need it for my screenshots etc. Or is there a 3rd party alternative? Any help'd be gladly appreciated.

Updates could of killed it.

Some people say that you should turn off Multicore Rendering, Not sure.
