Hi all.
Need some help as i cant find a difinitive answer anywhere.
Im trying to play gmod online with my mate but everytime i create a game he cant find it and when i invite him it says server not responding and vica versam him to me.
Ive tried hamachi and we are in a network but seems not to work eather.
How can i create a server than me and him can play on?

You need to forward the port 27015 on your router to your local ip address, and give him your external ip address to join.

Where does my friend put my IP?
He opens console and types: connect <ip>:<port>; password <password if there is one>
so it will be...
connect <myip>:<27015>
do i need a space near the : and do i need the ; cos we didnt put spaces and didnt put the ; and we got an error
Just exactly like this into the console:
connect 123.4.567.89:27015
Obviously replacing 123.4.567.89 with your IP. Which you can obtain in many ways, such as [URL="http://www.ipcake.com"]www.ipcake.com[/URL]
