You play as one of the residents living in the camp of Polis. Polis is an experimental town to see if the opinion of the Combine changes when it is not forced into a rabbit hole. Most of the CCA are taught to be mean and cold, while a select few are instructed to be extra careful and gentle. Most people will say its part of the experiment, others will completely take it for granted. People may set up businesses and shops. Some may escape the confines of the city, making it to the outlands. The Resistance is present in the city, in constant confilct with the CCA. ___________________________[/b] [/release] [release] [U][B]Half Life 2 Server Highlights[/B][/U] [b]__________________________ Hello again. I've been working hard at a community for two years and this is its high point, a custom map, and the HL2RP canon is slightly different. Food such as apples are not considered contraband. Alcohol is, however. The server started in August of 2008 and I had just finished being a admin on a darkrp server, so I recently decided to start serious roleplaying. I joined Taco and Banana for three months, getting my role-play skills beefed. I tried serious DarkRP but that failed, obviously. I started mapping in 2008 around December, and I continued working on the server. Then I worked on RP_Mars, but that never took off. I tried starting some serious DarkRPing, but that still didn't work. So then I started working on my second map RP_Flagship. I then ran a script that fell apart, so then I started a City 8 roleplay after my favourite City 8 server fell apart due to a shitty owner. I then started to run Kiwi on City 8 then the script fell apart. Waffler leaked TS2, then ran it on a map I made called City 28. Then I transferred the server to the coast and ended up using Cake. I tried to mod the newer 2.3.7 then made a map wich only got a couple downloads. rp_mars. I then was fed up DarkRP only had minges. I then left RolePlay World And killed it starting a new community called H.A.W.X. (a year has passed so far) I then worked on a SpaceRP using Kiwi. I then left my server to die. I then was trolling DarkRP Servers and saw one that was serious. My jaw dropped to the table. I joined and became a admin then it fell apart. I saw my server and had it freshly installed I got Kiwi on it and had a decent community. It had so many loop holes, I shut it down. Then me and the co-owner sickjits said fuck it and slapped Ts2 on it. I also created a map called city 28, now I have hired a coder to fix Kiwi.X and add many features. I recently Switched to city 18 due to my map needing work. I also installed Ts1. (not hard) I like the coastal maps now because there open, and have so much potential. The current story line is you get off a combine citizen air transport. Smell the air then see the town of Polis. You then find a house or a way out. There is opportunity for many types of role play. Now the map has been worked on. As the people slowly leave polis they return to their humble lives in city 28. ___________________________[/b] [release] [U][B]-Citizens.[/B][/U] [b]After getting off the air ships, you should get a ration and find a unit to rent. There are many fine areas to live in Polis. You can even become a logger for fuel and receive extra rations and items. You can also sell items on the market place. If you can get of Polis, you can scavenge for food and items to sell.[/b] [/release] [release] [U][B]-Refugees TRP and Hl2rp.[/B][/U] [b]Cold, scared, and confused, you have little knowledge and maybe have a rusty weapon. The main goal of a refugees either to get into City 18 (Lunar Role-Play Server) or join the Resistance. They will most likely die on their own. Some may group in apartments and cook found they can find. There is passive involved and can involve a hierarchy among certain camps.[/b] [/release] [release] [U][B]-Combine Civil Authority.[/B][/U] [b]Generally cruel and unfair. The Metro Police rule with an iron fist, constantly watching for anti-citizen behavior. Inspections and beatings are common. Prison RP is a more concentrated on than in other communities, guards and inmates alike should always have something to do. Every so often, citizens will be notified that rations are being distributed. On slow days, units may go on random searches, for both IC experience and RP. A week as a recruit will usually suffice, and you will be promoted. [/b] [/release][release] [U][B]-Terminators.[/B][/U] [b]Cold killing machines. T-600 models on our server are no longer in production, although many can still be seen actively patrolling and carrying out tasks. Terminators main functions are to patrol. Looks good, but I have a few questions and some wishes. What script base are you using, is Kiwi.x your own creation from scratch or is it based on DarkRP/Other existing gamemode? Please fix the logo as it is way too big and breaks the page.

How can I be part of skynet?

I don't see a difference between this and a bunch of other generic half-life 2 roleplaying servers. At least try something more original.

I'd mention how I might join but this reminds me too much of TnB so thus I will most likely avoid it. No offence to you or TnB players, I'm just not a whole fan of the 4 divisions of CP when in true HL2 you barely see 2.

The only thing is that the ones in HL2 are way completely different than your generic HL2 server.

Isn't TRP already done by TnB? Do we really need more roleplay clones?

Meh, I like the gamemode so far, but you have some problems that i have seen in the regular Kiwi. Also i suggest moving out of Terminator RP, because a lot of people will think it is just like TnB's because it is TS2 and TRP. Make your own story for a RP, you'll get a lot of people then.

I think I will move out of TRP and make something called Parasite ive ran it since 08 every friday but meh I have the resources. And were trying to fix the problems in the vanilla Kiwi actually more is fixed than you think. Ill get some gamemode pics up asap.

Could it be possibly like the Warcraft III map called Parasite?

Warcraft III :\ Its like metro 2033 and stalker had babies. The world is basicly over ran by parasites biotec spreads the infection but they can go rouge, short story short. Bunker go out, find shit, come back, eat a rat for dinner. It will be up when Thecakes mw2 sweps are dlable I will also link the content pack.

I've been meaning to join your HL2RP server. Though I tested the map in Single Player... To small for my 'standards' so I'll continue to procrastinate my joining.
