I type in sv_cheats 1 in the console like instructed, press O, then nothing. If it matters, I've tried including the extra space after "1" in the code, still nothing. Is it just a bad file?
You don't even need the mod to do that but, did you put it in addons?
I put it in garriesmod/garriesmod like it said. was in the folder cfg so I just put it in there
garrysmod/garrysmod, not garriesmod/garriesmod

You could just type in 2 simple commands to the console.
bind O "thirdperson"
bind I "firstperson"
Put those in console and it works the same as the addon.
