Earthwelded - Earthbound,Sourceified

What I want to make as a singleplayer mod for the LUA-based game called Garry's Mod is a spin off of Earthbound/Mother called Earthwelded.

As likely many of you have played Earthbound,it was a top-down sprite RPG.

I intend to replicate this game,using most details from the SNES version.

However,I am wondering which Mother game I should replicate. I couldn't pull myself to decide which one,because all of them are amazing. And since I am releasing this on Facepunch,I may as well look to,well,the Facepunch members.

Which Earthbound/Mother should I try and replicate?

By replicate,I meant base it off,sorry for the misunderstanding.
