• Most Playermodels Appear as Kleiner?
    9 replies, posted
All Playermodels besides Combine units and Main story characters appear as Kleiner to me. [Ex: Common Rebel/Civilian looks like Kleiner, but neither Breen or a Combine Elite have trouble] I would LOVE some help on this issue. Is it common with skin packs? Is a certain addon to blame? Is it possible at ALL to fix it? I don't know, but someone has to.
If you have downloaded any skins/replacements for the models, please delete them.
The truth is this has occured for months, and I just haven't found this forum in time. I don't remember getting any skins, but if I did, it's been too long to remember anyhow. But I'll look into it and see if I can find any old skins I don't use, and see if removing them will help.
You could just rename the "garrysmod" folder to "garrysmod old" or something and restart Garry's Mod. If the problem no longer exists, its an addon/replacement conflicting.

It worked! Hakita, I'm ingame typing from the community section of Steam. It's all working. I've been reduced to next-to nothing on tools, weapons, and etc, but I love this new setup. I'm removing all my addons. I'm going back to square one.
You could always put the addons back one by one and restarting everytime to see if the addon you just added conflicts. It might take a while, but you'll get your addons back.
Thanks for the tip Hakita, and for all your help, but I'd rather start over. Some day when I find the time I'll remove the entire old Garrysmod folder and all it's bad addons. (If you change the name of the default GMod folder, it creates a new, totally empty [besides the materials, the other game benefits and whatnot] one. Useful if you dont want to waste your time doing all the addon deletion.)
No problem. I wish you a good day and a happy new year.
