I'm currently running one srcds.exe, 16 slots. I've tried all I can think of but players still jump around a lot. This led me to think that I might not have enough resources, but the servers CPU, RAM, and network usage are literally at zero. stats in console brings back:
CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
0.00 4535.64 2138.36 32 3 550.3 0
So yeah, I've also tried adding
fps_max "600"
sv_minrate "40000"
sv_maxrate "60000"
to the server.cfg with no avail.
Server is a rented dedicated limestone networks server with the following specs:
Core- Intel Core2Quad Q9300
RAM- 8gb DDR2
Hard Drive- 500GB SATA2
Uplink Port Speed- 100mbps
Bandwidth- 3000gb
Operating System- Windows 2003 Standard R2 (64bit)
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: Pings are also unusually low. The server is located in texas, I live in new york, and its showing my latency as 6-15.
