I love GMod as much as a fat kid loves cake, but for some reason when I'm using a tool or a weapon, a random one selects itself. It has become very irritating, and it usually (unfortunately) auto-switches to the RPG and as I attempt to move a ragdoll, I kill myself. (Funny the first ten times...)
I haven't installed any Addons (fresh copy of GMod from Steam), so I'm not sure why it's doing this.
I have an iMac 21.5" (the better version of the 21.5" with the ATi Radion 4670) running a legal upgrade of Windows Vista Home Premium using Boot Camp.
I'm not sure if it's a virus, because I installed Vista, then immediately after installed Steam, then bought GMod.

More than likely it's a bad lua file you downloaded off of a server.
Rename your garrysmod/garrysmod folder to something temporary, and test it on the fresh one.
