About installing old addons...

[I][B]k, first things first this is my first post. I know NOTHING right now about this site but this looks like the best place to post help and look at then new games being developed by face punch studios :suicide: thank you and now listen to me :D [/B][/I]

Remember that addons folder? jesus no one does... right? well anyway there is this thing i found on the workshop called 'legacy browser' and its meant to bring back the old addons and allow you to use them in gmod 13, (here comes he help part) and crap ain't appearing, by that i mean i saw those sexy CS:GO weapons and had to download them, i dragged it made sure to rename the readme file Addon instead of info and... launched garrys mod checked the legacy browser and ! nothing :D :D :D :suicide: No, but seriously i need help. I don't know how to upload screenshots of this stuff, but meanwhile could you guys give me hints in the right direction.

[B]NOTE:[/B] this did happen before with some blacklight retribution models by LT. commander (his stuff is epic) but i found out just copy and pasting the id name which was Blacklight retri- bla bla bla models (you get it) as the folder name and it showed up on gmod in the legacy browser! and also i found some Gmod Tower conent in the browser.

Ignore the dumb post, people who are like bored just go around and put boxes all over the place. Also you posted this in the wrong section. This area is not for lua help. You should post in the developer discussion thread, or the help and support. This seems more like a developer question to me.

Also you really do not have any other place to look for gmod lua help. Facepunch is pretty much your only hope there.
