I feel like how I did two years ago with Garry's Mod.

Two years ago. Well, soon to be two years ago. (7/30/2008) I bought Garrysmod, How amazing it was. So much going on. New people, new things being made, new updates. And now, as my second year is coming too, I can't help but fall in love with Garry's Mod again. Do any of you share this?
it doesn't love you back
Neither does your mom.
i'm pretty sure my mother doesn't love you either
Idunno Gmod isn't the same as it was back in the day (earlier than your date up there).
Stuff before wiremod was so much different than it is now. Not saying wiremod is bad, I use it too.
I remember the good old days of vanilla servers...
I didn't crash as much back in the day.
Barely play gmod anymore, with all this "Expression 2" crap going on. Too much to learn too fast. And like Expression 1, as soon as I get it, they'll come out with expression 3. That's all build really is anymore. Wire.

Change the name to WireMod.
It was THE shit back in '06, release day.
I remember having GMod 9 back then and being green with envy at the fact that people could use HOVERBALLS and them having FANCY NEW MENUS
Heh. Good times, good times. :D
I used to play one of those defence games where the npc's attack your base, the server is gone now but it was so much fun.
Ahhhhh back in the day, not so long ago for me (July 2008) when you first start it's so much easier then you have to build bigger and better. I have recently fallen in love with it again too.
i only got gmod a year ago but i still love playing so many different gamemodes etc
I remember the first gmod community I joined back then, such good times I had, and all the people i've met.
Not sure if it matches the same amount of fun I had back in v5 or 6 when they just added pulleys but it is coming back again for me :)
We just repainted the house back in 2006 when I bought Garry's Mod - now whenever I can smell fresh paint it makes me think of those early days.

This happened to me as well.
Isn't it fun going down memory lane? :v:
No. I've been playing for 3 and something years now, and it's getting old quite frankly.
Good times. :)And now, these updates made more crashes in G-Mod.

I remember playing it on my friend's steam account. It was so awesome.

I really miss those days, I have yet to find another community that was as good as that. A good community imo isn't too big where you can easily remember all the regulars, friendly admins that aren't banhappy and will give you admin when the time is right, and a community that doesn't constantly spam players to recommend them. Seriously, communities like that are hard to come by these days, and the ones you can find don't last very long due to the owner getting a lack of interest or them trying to make turn it into a huge community and in the process driving away all the regulars.
When I got garrys mod my first time it was confusing as hell but at the same time the best fucking game I've ever played.

There's a thread for hating on Wiremod and Expression 2. The only reason why there was a sequel was because the first one was down right mediocre as far as creating it went. This one at least has a proper edit box.
I kind of agree, slowly but surely more and more new stuff is causing it to gain hype again, stuff like the combine mech!

I remember my first day of GMod.
I mistook the C menu for the Q menu, thought it broke, then when I got that fixed I made a lift out of a winch, bedframe, and crane. Then I crashed :smith:
