Wierd Physgun & Prop Colors

I am getting this on a clean GMod. I deleted both garrysmod folders and did the "delete local content" thing.

This happens only to the physgun (and gravity gun?) and that line of stuff always goes to the same place.

This happens when somewhat far away from the prop. different angles = different colors and being close to the prop has it's original color.

I have all graphics on low.

Please help me, I want to get back to playing gmod.

Looks like your graphics card is overheating.

It's never done this before. Maybe because my PC is on its side... but it was doing that before it was on it's side. Any other reasons it would overheat?

Probably insufficient cooling. Try getting a different case, or get some fans.

Why would it suddenly be to hot? It was working perfectly fine before. I may install a new fan, any recommendations?

It might be from age, causing it to run inefficiently, and the wasted energy becomes heat. As for the fan, try getting something with good reviews from newegg.

Hm... Looks like you run it in Dx 8. Shouldnt this run on 9? Type -dxlevel 9 in:

Right click Gmod in library, Properties, Set launch options

dont do that , or you will end up running on dxLevel 0.9 , not. 9.0
