StainScript - Serious Apocalypse RP. - Garry's Mod

This is Stainscript. Not many people know about it, but we're here! Running off CakeScriptG2, we host a Serious Apocalypse roleplaying server. At the moment, we're running rp_cscesert_v2-1. If you don't have that then I've gone through the liberty and got you a download link. We currently have a small website set up, visit us at [url]http://www.glimt.dk/[/url] and grab our Model Pack and have a look at the Steam Community Group. We boast friendly admins who wont ban you instantly for no apparent reason. We don't have forums, as all recruiting is done ICly to add to the realism. Military also have things such as Helicopers which I never got a shot of, I also never got a shot of any bases that were fully set up, but the images I provided should be sexy enough. I'm Philip J. Fry, This script is awesome, but it needs active admins ! If you need someone for shots like those, Ask me !

We have active admins, Shad. It's just that alot of people don't notice them because they deal with situations quickly and well. Then they get back to their RP.

I didn't say we hadn't ! I'm just saying, if someone wants to use the script, that it needs some active admins.

I can see how the bussiness access is going to be abused :v:

It's cakescript modified slightly :\ Why is there a Freedom flag? This isn't stalker rp obviously.

Freedom is a player made faction, showing that if you are an experienced roleplayer and speak to the admins you may be able to get your own faction.

Here's what i see: - A cakescript edit, Not a dumb one. Well done - The menu colors and 'scene' is taken out of lemonade from first sight (Possibly.) - It looks nice to me. - Good functions. --- suggestions: Being a lua coder myself, I suggest you make a derma paint for the menu, to make it look more original. Other than that, Good job and good lua with the community part! Might stop by sometime.

Go to the Favorites tab and hit "Add a Server" and put in this IP: 80.163.57.5:27015

What the fuck kind of name is "Stainscript"? Have people lost all imagination now or something and resort to naming their (poorly made most times) edits [random word]script? Either that or something related to food in a attempt to be the next TnB. Name it something related to your Style of RP of you are keeping it private or give it a more interesting name if you are releasing it publicly. And the UI is dark, very dark. Not neccesariliy (sp?) a bad thing, but it looks bland because of it.

Server changed IP a few days ago, front page should have the new one.

You can put the servers in alphabetical order, and look under S. To make your search more exact and a lot quicker, you can also go to change filters, and enter: rp_cscdesert This will bring up all cscdesert maps, which is the map we are running. 2) Open your console and enter 'connect 77.213.139.59:27015' 3) Open the server menu, Go to favourites and enter hit the 'Add A Server' button then enter the IP '77.213.139.59:27015'. [/quote] We're happy with the name we picked for our roleplay, and you're right, I never noticed that alot of scripts are named after foods! I will take into account all of your points and suggestions, and thank-you for the feedback.

I will take into account all of your points and suggestions, and thank-you for the feedback.[/QUOTE] Fair 'nuff, even if it was just bitching about the name :v: From the looks of it, almost everything the script does is ok, though the M14 is mis-named, that is the M4A1 (M4, M16, they all look similar), the M14 is a entirely different rifle if I remember my guns right. Also anyone got any insight as to why the characters always do that freaky crouching thing on Cakescript, it plagues all versions :confused:

I have to say that the server is bloody amazing, and the RP is awesome. The only bad thing about it would be the continuous downtime and IP changing.

Looks very nice, I'll drop in sometime. Do you use a custom map? Would be a little more original if you do/did.
