Hello!
I just recently bought gmods last night, and I have downloaded a folder full of Left 4 Dead ragdolls and various weapons. However, I'm totally clueless on how to add the Left 4 Dead stuff onto my game.
Right now, all I have is what came with the game (Half-life ragdolls and weapons). I do have Left 4 Dead on Steam, so I should be able to use the survivor ragdolls, and I extracted the file through winzip, but I've got no clue how to put it onto my game.
Is there some way I upload the folder while Gmods is running? Please help.
I know, I'm a total noob with this junk, so excuse the stupidity xD;;

First of all, welcome to Facepunch!
Now, you can't install when Garry's Mod is running, sorry. You'll have to close it first.
Anyway, in the zip file, there should be a folder. Check inside the folder. Does it have a text file called info.txt? If it does, copy-paste the folder to this directory:
HD*\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Accountname**\Garrysmod\Garrysmod\Addons
* - This is your hard-drive, probably C, but if you've got more than one hard drive it might be installed on another.
** - Your account name.
If done correctly, fire up Garry's Mod and it should work fine.
