Hi guys,
An hour ago I bought Garry's Mod for myself and as a gift to a Steam buddy of mine.
When we want to start a new multiplayer game, both of us get a message box after loading a bit:
"This steam account has been used to log in from another computer. To continue using steam, you need to log in again."
The thing is, after we close steam (reboot) and log in again the problem has not been resolved.
Googling this problem only gives me some flame forums from 2005 ;(

Close Steam and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file located in the Steam directory. Then load steam again and try again.
Just tried it, I can't connect to any server.

nvm, I just couldnt connect to some servers for because, they where lagging i guess.
So was what djjkxbox said correct?

You just need to relog in by using "Change User".
This happens to me. I have installed dual boot with ubuntu and Se7en. I installed steam to windows, then to ubuntu, playing from ubuntu cause me this error. i turned off steam and turned it on again, nothing happens, google. Then i found this topic, deleted cleintregistry.blob, then googling again. then i didnt found anything, without trying to run game, i used to "change user", then started gmod, everything works well.
The last post is 4 weeks old, the thread is several months old, why bump?
