Is it possible to get around file verification on Garry's Mod launch?

I want to do this because it just keep telling me that the steam servers are too busy, it only happens when it have to verify the game cache... so how do I get around the verification and straight into garry's mod?

Delete clientregistry.blob, restart steam, let it verify, and you're done.
