Title sums it up pretty much. The game starts like normal, and the background comes up with the Loading sign, but it never stops loading, I've left it over an hour. I run GMOD in Windowed mode, so when I click it, I notice it stops responding and the only thing I can do then is close.
Any ideas how to fix this? Need a picture of my addons maybe?
You need to verify your game cache, mine was doing this for a while I fixed it by doing that.
Right click Gmod
Click properties
Click Local Files
Click Verify integrity of game cache
Wait for it to finish, then launch the game.
It should fix the problem.

Tried reinstalling GMod?
Maybe it is Addonissimo or something like that?
I've reinstalled Garry's Mod, even with no addons it does the same thing.

I have the same problem, it sits on "Loading" for a while then my computer stops loading gmod, i press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and the Gmod menu is stuck on the screen, but all my windows are still behind it. Im forced to use emergency shutdown and Gmod has never worked since the "Toybox" update.
