Addons in GMod for Mac

I recently downloaded Gmod for Mac because I couldn't get Counter-Strike to work on my PC, but I have no idea how to add addons and the like.

Help?

I have not used Garry's Mod on the Mac, but if its anything similar to Garry's Mod on the PC, search for a "garrysmods" folder which contains an "addons" subfolder. Extract addons into that directory and they should work fine.

Already tried. Even used SVN.
