Browse Tab is Useless, Search Cache doesn't rebuild properly.

I've had this issue with Garry's Mod for a while now, but it's become unbearable lately. Whenever I open the browse tab, the usual folders are displayed. If I try to expand any of them, though, it just gives me the "L" next to the folder, and doesn't expand. So I figured I would try rebuilding the search cache, but either doesn't rebuild at all or only caches of the models available (when I search them, they don't come up). Has anyone had/fixed this issue? Thanks in advance!
