This has happened with Team Fortress 2 aswell, They run fine, just the colours and my weapons screwed up.

What is your video card/system specs?
If you don't know that either get Speccy ([url]http://www.piriform.com/speccy[/url]), take a picture, upload the picture to an image hosting site (like imageshack.us, or tinypic.com, or whatever), then post the picture on the forum using the [noparse] [img]<url>[/img] [/noparse] tags. Then we can help you further.
And the temperatures of your graphics card under load, as well.
"Artifacting", as this is called, is usually a sign of a dying/failing/overheating graphics card.
(God I should save this to notepad, I've been pasting this everywhere recently...)
