when i open the q menu there is like a 1 inch gap beetween the props and the tools is this normal or a propblem

Just increase your resolution, if you can't, then you shouldn't really be playing gmod with a computer like that.

I've got this too, on a resolution of 1440x900 (capped by screen, not tower)
How is this a problem? It's just the way the UI is coded.
