Take Servers off Master List if they don't have "Fast Download"

Can this please happen? They crowd out the servers that are set up correctly. It's annoying as hell to have to click through and wait to find out a server won't dish out content that is required to join it. Either take them off the master server list, or provide some way to filter them out. I don't think anyone wants to see servers they have to troubleshoot to join.
EDIT: Even better, create a new column in the server list, "Join Delay".
Pretty much, just deal with it, and wait for the stuff to download. Obviously, if you need to download a lot of stuff, the server may not be worth your time.

Some servers don't need it. If your playing an un-modded TTT server then why have it - most of the time it's extra money to have it (he he I got it for free on mine :P).
Really, just find a clan that has servers you like, if they are setup and taken care of they will have Fast DL.
O... And look for something in the server title (I add this myself as well) that says Fast DL.

Most TTT servers have a ton of maps to keep track of, noone wants to spend 15 minutes just to try a new map on a server you frequent.
It only takes like 5-7 minutes to download 1 TTT map.......

lol...
Use css maps or other popular maps - everyone will have them...
YOU DON'T NEED FAST DL!

not always true, the game server could have shitty bandwidth and suck your Download down.

It takes me mostly 15-30 seconds
Manually download the maps if it bothers you that much.
I'm not going to "download the maps", that's a waste of my time.

Are you really so lazy that you cant be bothered to make a quick search and dl the file?
Why the fuck is everyone on the internet so damn lazy and impatient? It's like "I have to click buttons myself? WAAAAY too much work."
Why would I waste my time doing external downloads when there are servers that are set up correctly? A better question: why are so many server admins so damn lazy and incompetent? You don't have to pay for "fast download" through the same people who host your server. I know several mod communities that all use the same one, and there is usually someone who puts it up for free.
There's no good reason for it to not be completely automatic, other than admins just not putting in the effort.

Not every server hoster gives you a fast download, and not every admin wants to fork out extra money to pay for one.
My internet speeds are good enough to host a gmod server if I wanted to, but my ISP throttles outgoing HTTP traffic, so I wouldn't be able to host a fast download without paying for a hosting service.
downloading maps = waste of time
:irony:
Then don't play on them? Is it really that facking hard to do? Or you can just start blacklisting them or change how they show up in your server master list. (yes you can do that :3)
I'm pretty sure it's clear that I don't play on them.

It would be helpful if you read more than the first sentence of my post.

I did read your posts, but if you insist on more comments:

There's a reason for favorites lists. When you find a server that is configured in a manner that pleases you and has decent admins, add it to your favorites.
It's annoying as hell to have to click through and wait to find out a server won't dish out content that is required to join it.
The servers DO dish out the content, just not at your desired speed. If I find a map download to be too slow, I just do a quick Google search for it and download it. Problem solved. If you can't do that, then YOU are being lazy.
Either take them off the master server list, or provide some way to filter them out.
Take them off the master list because they do something you don't like? Never going to happen. It is unreasonable to expect Garry or Valve to do this. You can filter them out yourself by blacklisting them from your server browser.
I don't think anyone wants to see servers they have to troubleshoot to join.
Troubleshoot? Since when is any additional "troubleshooting" caused by the lack of a fast download server?
This is absolutely retarded. You are placing your own biased opinion in something that is meant to be purely informational. A server using vanilla content can run without a fast download and have no additional "join delay". Even if the server has custom content, if you have already downloaded it, there will be no "join delay". A better name for the column would simply be "Fast Download Enabled"

I know perfectly well how to set up a fast download, and would do so (on my server I'm not currently hosting) if I had a fast download available. I don't call that lazy in the slightest. Lazy would mean I have access to a fast download server, but I can't be bothered to add one line to my config file. You are suggesting that every server without a fast download doesn't have a fast download because the server admin was just too lazy to add 1 line to the config file, despite the fact that these server admins may not have access to an affordable fast download server.
Are there really no community fast download servers for Garry's Mod?
Shutup.
Are there really no community fast download servers for Garry's Mod?
you forget the cache that has to be on the fastdownload after every change to the lua cache. It has to be there instantly after mapchange meaning fastdownloads are ironically too slow for gmod (unless hosted on the same pc)
Most of the servers have custom content nowadays and it's really a positive thing.
If you don't like to wait stuff to get downloaded or if you can't bother to click buttons, play on vanilla sandbox servers.
Downloading maps for TTT only takes like 10-20 seconds.
Calm down.
Why isn't garrysmod.org set up to offer fast download?
1. costly.
2. The download system comes from the engine level, which Garry doesn't want to tickle.
If they don't have fastDL, but they don't have much content either, what is the worth for them to get fastDL?
I'd rather say have a tag in the server list for servers that have sv_downloadurl specified, and for those who don't. And also a client variable or button that lets you skip downloading content, or skip straight to lua cache.
