I've been having a lot of problems with the search cache recently. Until now, I've had the cache go up to over seven thousand, and now it's stopping at no more than two thousand, leaving me without most of my models. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Can someone please help? And now every time I quit, hl2.exe won't shut off, so even if the search cache does work I still have to refresh it the next time since nothing saved.

Yeah, It's never worked well for me, but it just recently stopped working entirely. no search for me.
