Is there an option to do this? I'm sick of getting blasted with shitty music against my will while I'm trying to listen to other things i.e skype, youtube, netflix.
I'm unsure if this would work but try turning down awesomium.exe (I think it's called not sure as its broken on mac). I think you turn it down in sound manager whattever it's called. Hope this helps.
You have to mute Garry's mod itself, but i can't do that while the server's loading. The volume mixer usually won't open until it's sending client info

Disconnect and blacklist the server, it probably was shit anyway.
