So there is tons of annoying stuff in gmod 13. So I think this should be fixed in gmod 14
1.Servers flying around when ping changes
2.When joining a server the game freezes sometimes when changing download content.
3.More vehicles to default list
4.Easier server management
5.Having DarkRp as a one of the default gamemodes
6.Having armor as an entity
7.More HD textures
8.Maybe oculus rift support?
9.If there is a lua error it should say [ERROR]X[Amount of errors] so the console isnt spammed. Also errors shouldnt show to players who are not staff on the servers.
10.Make it easier to find lua errors
This is what would be good to have in gmod. The game needs constant updates so it doesn't get boring and it stays alive.
You may have a point with 9.
ESPECIALLY with missing sound assets.
Please for the love of god, [u]stop[/u] with these posts. Although the Lua error idea was a decent idea.

Point 1 really is kind of pointless... they can't fix that if servers lag that they just happen to lag.

I personally think, that if the server denies you connection because "your map is different to the server's", then it should download the version the server has and have it renamed like
"ttt_minecraft_b5"
to
"ttt_minecraft_b5[1]"
and still be recognised?? Anyone else ever had this problem??

That would not be possible since Source doesn't handle map names that way. They have to be the exact same between the server and client.
Source engine 2 or same as CS:GO has. CS:GO Maps are gorgeous.

The server has shit owners (usually) if you're having that problem, or a server you joined earlier has shit owners.

Without some hacky way around it, if CS:GO maps are supported, old map support will be dropped.

Let's not forget to mention that not everyone has CS:GO. Without it like, 80% of the mappers wouldn't be able to map for gmod anymore.
(You'd need to launch hammer from the CSGO folder as right now SOURCE SDK is basically useless due to steampipe.)

Might be necessary in a while though. If Garry provided a 6 month or year heads up it probably wouldn't be so bad. Though I'm not a mapper so I have no idea what it would take to update maps to gmod.
